Welcome to NearIRM
This guide will help you go from signup to receiving your first alert notification. By the end, you'll have:
- A configured webhook integration
- A notification policy routing alerts
- Your first test alert delivered
Time required: About 10 minutes
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A NearIRM account (start your 14-day free trial)
- Access to a monitoring tool (Grafana, or any tool that can send webhooks)
- A notification channel configured (email is set up by default)
What You'll Learn
1. Installation
First, you'll create an integration to receive alerts from your monitoring tools. NearIRM provides webhook URLs that accept alerts from:
- Grafana Alertmanager - Native format support
- Generic webhooks - For any tool that can send JSON
2. Quick Start
Then, you'll set up a notification policy and send a test alert to see the full flow in action.
